Principal Investigator
Antonio Origlia is Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (University of Naples Federico II). His research activity concentrates on using the Unreal Engine to implement Embodied Conversational Agents supported by different AI technologies ranging from Graph Databases to Probabilistic Graphical Models
Leonilda Bilo
Neurologist
Leonilda Bilo is Associate Professor at the Unviersity of Naples "Federico II". She is a Neurologist with years of expertise in the field of Epilepsy. She is also an expert in Clinical Neurology and Neurophysiopathology. She is a member of the main associations related to the neurological research fields and she is responsible for the Epilepsy Centre at the University of Naples “Federico II”. She is the coordinator of the “Lega Italiana contro l’Epilessia” (LICE) for the Campania and Molise regions.


Pietro Maturi
Linguist
Pietro Maturi is Associate Professor of Italian Linguistics. His main research interests cover phonetics, sociolinguistics with special interest in gender studies and social inclusion. He authored numerous international publications and monographies, studying, in particular, various aspects of spoken communication. He is a member
of multiple scientific associations dealing with linguistics-related topics and has covered relevant roles in their coordinating committees.
Maria di Maro
Linguist
Maria Di Maro is a Post-doctoral researcher in Linguistics working on the topic of Argumentation Based Dialogue Systems. Her doctoral thesis focused
on computational models for representing and managing Common Ground in dialogue systems,
particularly concerning inconsistencies in the Common Ground. Her ongoing research interests revolve around various facets of argumentative
dialogue, spanning from clarification requests to common sense-based explanations and
argumentation strategies.
